About Bloomsbury Improvement Group
We started to build this site in August 2005.
Bloomsbury Improvement Group is set up to explore long term environmental, social and economic improvements in the Bloomsbury area of Camden and demonstrate Bloomsbury as a centre of Excellence!
We have been exploring the idea that Bloomsbury needs a coordinated method of promoting the area, initiating and implementing improvements and we are looking for ways that this might be achieved.
The combined business rateable value for the area of interest amounts to about A#92 million.
The area has a total of 8,000 hotel beds and is well placed to benefit from the November 2007 opening of the new Eurostar terminal at St Pancras.
Our area of interest is defined as the rectangle bounded by Tottenham Court Road to the west, Euston Road to the north, Gray's Inn Road to the east, and High Holborn to the south.
