The Womens Institute (WI) to Empower West End Girls. Welcome to the National Federation of Women's Institutes (NFWI), the largest organisation for women in the UK with 215,000 members. It is called "London West End WI" and has made history as there has never been a WI in the area before, in fact the only other London WI is Fulham which was formed in 2003. Bloomsbury Blues Festival June 2004

Bloomsbury Blues Festival (our first major street event) took place in Malet Street on Friday June 25th 2004 between 6pm and 11pm - supported by Bloomsbury Association, Bloomsbury Improvement Group, UCL and ULU. The street was closed to traffic for the evening and entry was free. The event was very successful and we intend to run similar street events in the future.
