About Covent Garden Community Association

The CGCA is a charity, dependent on donations. If you like what we do and support our aims, please join us - Navigate to 'Our Files' where you will all the details in the 'Membership' section, which even lets you join and pay online. If you don't want to join, but want to support us in other ways, check out the donations, [Grants and Sponsorship] sections.

Thank you for visiting our new site. Please e-mail us at [feedback@coventgarden.org.uk] to tell us what you think - this is a resource for you, whether you live here or are visiting, and we want to know how we could make it better. Click here to view the work done by local artist Jo Weir

The CGCA was founded in 1971, to protect Covent Garden from its impending demolition at the hands of the then Greater London Council. In fact, Covent Garden today is only what it is because of the CGCA, so we have a proud history and a lot to live up to. We continue our work in making Covent Garden a great place to live, work and visit, through a range of programmes on [Planning and Licensing], the [Environment] and [Community Safety]. This section tells you about the CGCA, our history, and our famous past battles. We encourage you to join us for the battles of the future - you'll find our [Membership] pages here.
