About London West End Women's Institute

London West End WomanA?s Institute is part of the National Federation of WomenA?s Institute, the largest voluntary organisation for women in the UK. The yearly membership is A#29
We provide monthly meetings at which all women are welcome to make friends, listen to a speaker or take part in an activity. We have had a huge variety of subjects from Wine and Chocolate Tastings, Origami to Quantum Physics, singing and making jam in a microwave. Other activities such as theatre visits are organised between meetings
As part of our community activity we actively support a project dealing with homeless women, the Women@theWell in Kings Cross. We run stalls selling home-made produce at local fairs and community events as a way to enhance the cohesion of the local community and raise funds.
