Camden (Children's Fund) Primary Schools Project

19 May, 2013

The primary schools project which closed at the end of March 2008 was part of Camden Children's Fund. It aimed to develop methods for identifying early signs of difficulty in children and providing comprehensive support
packages.

The project was delivered through a partnership of Coram, local statutory agencies and six Camden Primary schools: Beckford, Brookfield, St Dominic's, Rhyl, Carlton & Kingsgate. It developed methods for identifying early signs of difficulty in children and helped to provide comprehensive support packages which could be delivered through close collaboration between agencies and sectors and function as a virtual organisation.

The lessons learned provided a model for use in other primary schools and secondary schools involved in the Behaviour Improvement Programme.
