About Camden (Children's Fund) Primary Schools Project
The primary schools project which closed at the end of March 2008 was part of Camden Children's Fund. It aimed to develop methods for identifying early signs of difficulty in children and providing comprehensive support
packages.
The project was delivered through a partnership consisting of Coram, local statutory agencies and six Camden Primary schools: Beckford, Brookfield, St Dominic's, Rhyl, Carlton & Kingsgate. It developed methods for identifying early signs of difficulty in children and helped to provide comprehensive support packages which could be delivered through close collaboration between agencies and sectors and function as a virtual organisation.
The lessons learned through the project have provided a model for such work in other primary schools and those secondary schools involved in the Behaviour Improvement Programme.
Enquires about the work of the project can still be made to the consultant
